Janusz Korwin-Mikke zwrócił się z prośbą o rozpropagowanie apelu, nawołującego do bojkotu towarów amerykańskich w sprzeciwie wobec ACTA. Apel skierowany jest do mieszkańców "całego świata" - stąd angielskojęzyczna wersja.
Może trudno dzisiaj kupić jakiś towar amerykański, bo i tak produkcja odbywa się głównie w Chinach i innych krajach Azji, a popularny napój gazowany, zawierający kofeinę, produkuje się w zakładach ulokowanych także np. w Polsce.
Ale, ale! Przecież są np. amerykańskie alkohole! I to na każdej prawie stacji benzynowej czy w markecie. Kalifornijskie wina, burbony i różne whiskopodobne, nie mogą być przecież wyprodukowane poza USA, a co najwyżej - rozlane do butelek.
Win kalifornijskich akurat mi szkoda, bo te lubię (prawie jak w dowcipie o góralu, który partii komunistycznej odda i krowy i konie, ale owiec nie odda, - Dlaczego owiec nie? - pytają zaskoczeni. - Bo owce mom - odpowiada góral), ale pozostałych trunków nie żałuję. Zakupu nowego Dodge'a ani Della w najbliższym czasie nie planuję, więc siłą rzeczy jestem uczestnikiem.

An appeal to all those who do not want ACTA
As you know our freedom – not only in the Net – is endangered. And now we are told, that the American Congress refused to proceed with SOPA and PIPA. Nor it is going to ratify ACTA.
Nevertheless the Administration goes on putting pressure on the other States to introduce ACTA all over the world. For example: The US Embassy in Warsaw phoned the Polish Government office demanding the names of the Members of Parliament who voted on the Committee session against proceeding with ACTA!
We are not going to allow to limit the freedom in the colonies (as some of the Americans treat the rest of the globe) while the Americans themselves are still free in this domain.
Let us fight for our freedom.
If the White House proceeds promoting ACTA, the KNP proposes to begin a trade boycott of the American goods.
Therefore we herein found the International Committee for Freedom of Operating with Information. The purpose of the ICFOI is to limit the protection of patents and the authors' rights to a sensible extent. To achieve this goal we will propagate the idea of boycotting the American goods, also to a sensible extent.
The details will be established and promoted in the world by volunteers. All organizations determined to help us are asked to subscribe via e-mail:

Nie ma też zamiaru ratyfikować ACTA. Tym niemniej Administracja kontynuuje naciski na inne państwa, by wprowadzić ACTA na całym świecie. Na przykład ambasada USA w Warszawie telefonowała do Kancelarii Rady Ministrów domagając się podania nazwisk Posłów, którzy na posiedzeniu Komisji głosowali przeciwko kontynuowaniu prac nad ACTA! Nie mamy zamiaru dopuścić, by ograniczono wolność w koloniach (jak Amerykanie traktują resztę świata), podczas gdy w samej Ameryce w tej dziedzinie panuje względna swoboda. Walczymy o naszą wolność! Jeśli Biały Dom będzie nadal forsował ACTA, Kongres Nowej Prawicy proponuje wszczęcie bojkotu towarów amerykańskich. Niniejszym zakładamy więc Międzynarodowy Komitet Swobody w Operowaniu Informacją. Celem ICFOI jest ograniczenie ochrony praw patentowych i autorskich do rozsądnych rozmiarów. By to osiągnąć będziemy propagować ideę bojkotu – również w sensownych rozmiarach – amerykańskich towarów. Szczegóły zostaną ustalone i rozpowszechnione przez chętnych. Wszystkie organizacje i instytucje chcące wspomóc tę akcje proszone są o zgłaszanie się na adres: free-from-acta@1email.eu i wstąpienie do ICFOI.
